I loved Stockholm. We were only there for four or five days and I never really explored further than the city center, but there was plenty to see and do. We stayed at the Mälardrottningen Hotel which is a converted luxury yacht once owned by Barbara Hutton, converted a floating hotel. Taking a shower on a rocking boat was a little too exciting for me. The food was delicious.

It's crazy, I know, but the very best--and strangest---nachos I've ever eaten were at an outdoor cafe near our hotel on Riddarholm Island in Lake Mälaren.

We were lucky to be there in summer. It was gorgeous.

This is so wonderful! I'm stuck in bed tending a deconstructed/reconstructed foot, which makes this trek through Paris even more delightful, somehow. But not only because it's Paris, but because it's Paris through your fabulous eyes. I hope you write more, friend.
